Delivery And Returns


Delivery

We process all orders within one full working day. No guarantee can be made unless approved by Mobility-Shops.com, but where we have available stock of an item we will do our utmost best to provide next day delivery of goods. Our standard shipment time is 1 to 5 working days.

Most products with a value of over £ 50 are supplied with free delivery.

This includes scooters/electric wheelchairs, riser recliner chairs, furniture and electric beds delivered by courrier service, alternatively you have the option of assisted delivery, installation and setup for an additional fee to most UK postcodes (mainland UK only). Delivery is to UK main land addresses only. Please call for delivery to non-mainland locations. Smaller products will be delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Products that weigh more than 10kg or classed as high value items, will be delivered by one of our national couriers. Some products will require installation by one of our Engineers to ensure that you gain the maximum benefit from your product(s).This will be the case for large mobility scooters, riser/recliner chairs or electric beds. Technician deliveries typically take up to 5 working days. This option is available at the checkout ("engineer assisted") for an additional fee and includes home delivery, setup and instruction. It is the customers responsibility to ensure clear access for delivery with all necessary provisions being made before delivery takes place. Mobility-Shops.com will not be held responsible for any damage incurred due to inadequate access.

Returns Exchanges

In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSRs) Mobility-Shops.com give customers a 7 day "cooling off" period in which orders can be cancelled after the delivery date. Upon receipt of the goods, if you require to return or exchange the product(s) you will be personally responsible for return delivery incurring any delivery cost but will receive a full refund for the product purchased providing the goods are in a re-saleable condition. We do recommend that you pay for a tracked/signed delivery for your protection. If you would like to return or exchange your products please contact Mobility-Shops.com on 01253 356 208. If you are unable to return the product to us we can provide this service for you at various fees depending on type of product(s) you are returning.

Returned product(s) must be complete, unused, in an undamaged state and returned in their original outer packaging. If products are not in a re-saleable condition on return, Mobility Shops reserves the right to charge for repair, replacement or repackaging of any products not returned in their original condition. This charge may include the cost of parts, materials, packaging, labour and any subsequent loss to Mobility-Shops.com

All refunds will be processed within 30 days after receipt of goods.

Payment

Mobility-Shops.com accepts all major credit/debit cards. All orders are processed by our Sales staff who are fully compliant with both Data Protection and Computer Misuse Acts. All orders outside the UK mainland will be subject to a postage and package charge, which will be informed to the customer prior to the shipment of goods.

All personal information gathered is for the sole purpose of processing customer orders and is not passed to any other party.

Where cheques are used for payment they should be made payable to Mobility Products Ltd. Please allow three working days from the date of receipt to enable the cheque to clear before the shipment of goods.

VAT Exemption

Individuals who are chronically sick or disabled and whose products are for personal use along with all charities where the products are made available to a disabled person for their own personal or domestic use, may be eligible for VAT exemption.

The majority of Mobility-Shops.com prices do not include VAT (unless otherwise clearly stated). Provided the VAT Exempt form is stating your condition and checkboxes are ticked whilst checking out your order, VAT will not be added unless a particular product has compulsory VAT. Orders which are received without ticked exemption will incur the VAT charge, which will be clearly stated to you through our shopping calculator. Guarantee

The majority of our products are guaranteed for twelve months by the manufacturer. However, some products are guaranteed for longer e.g. Rise and Recline Chairs, Bath Lifts etc. Our warranty does not cover items used outside of Mainland UK and does not include the reimbursement for the hire of a replacement product. Items purchased outside of the mainland UK will be subject to a return to base warranty at the customers cost.
